The event is open to all Explorer Units and consists of

Friday Night Challenge

Saturday Day Activities to test your teamwork skills

Night Hike with Challenge and food bases along the route

Cost – £35 per young person, catering not included

Booking form and payment made by BACS to confirm your booking

Closing Date is 1st November 2026

Few Questions Answered –

• On the Saturday we ask for Leaders to support with running the day bases, night bases and marshal points that we have organised for the weekend. We will allocate the leaders to these so we know we have the correct number that we need per base.
• Each unit would need to complete their own NAN for the event
• Each group cater for themselves – If there are other groups from your area you could arrange to do all your catering together but if you decide to do this, please email campcockerel@rhyddcovert.org.uk before the closing date so you can be allocated the same site.
